Ballet San Angelo is putting out a call for original music compositions and adaptations for an exciting production happening in April, 2026.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Entries must be in MP3 or Wav format
• All music genres and mediums will be accepted
• Pieces must not exceed 3 minutes.
• Applicants may submit a maximum of 3 pieces.
• Musician honorarium will be provided.
- $100 for a selected work - Additional $250 if performing live (includes 1 dress rehearsal and 2 performances)
** Funds for travel are not available **
IMPORTANT DATES
Submission Deadline: Monday, January 5th, 2026
Notification of Selection: Monday, January 12
Dress/Tech Rehearsal: 5:30-8pm, Thursday, April 9
Performance Dates: 7pm - Friday, April 10 | 7pm - Saturday, April 11

ABOUT THE SHOW
8-14 pieces will be chosen and paired with a Ballet San Angelo dancer who will create original choreography for a live performance at the Brooks & Bates Theatre on April 10 & 11.
The focus of this annual show is to highlight original new works from both our artistic staff and upper level students, expressing what’s on their mind through dance - and this year, with live local music!
