Dance Education is divided into two divisions.

The Children’s Division offers classes for ages 17 months+ and includes Toddler & Me, Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop classes.

The Academy Division  for ages 6+, is founded on a structured classical syllabus beginning with level 1A and progressing through the pre-professional level. Children are placed in each level according to age, experience and the discretion of the Artistic Director.

Need-based tuition assistance is available, and parents must submit an application with current proof of income for consideration. Applications are reviewed at the beginning of each semester of study. Please contact the front office for more information.

Community  Engagement is at the heart of Ballet San Angelo.  We are committed to serving the greater San Angelo community through programs such as: multi-ability dance, Dancing for Parkinson’s, choreography workshops, special summer workshops, and through partnerships with vibrant education, health and arts organizations such as San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, San Angelo Independent School District, Angelo State University, and the National Ballet School of Canada. Our Fitness Division is designed for every level of participant, offering memberships and drop in classes for adults and teens who are looking for fitness and recreational dance instruction.  The program consists of a wide range of options such as yoga, BodyBarre and pilates mat classes, as well as a pilates studio, furnished with state of the art equipment, and available for private, semi-private and group classes and pricing.

Productions offered by Ballet San Angelo include five regular season performances, the fall show, Nutcracker, a children’s ballet, the May performance and our student showcase. Our season provides our students with critical performance opportunities, using their education and developing craft to give back to the community. BSA promotes the original work of relevant guest artists and choreographers. Visiting artists enrich our students’ education, as well as the quality of our performance offerings to the community. There is no charge for participation in a performance.
